My last but best photo I wish to submit. This time I actually caught a lightning bolt. I did not know I got this photo till after I got home. I am very proud of this one and made the whole moment worth it.

As for the three movies I shot of the storm, they are all really skippey but still have some great lightning shots. You hear a lot of wind in the sound and in the first one you can hear the tornado sirens.

Leave it to me, whenever those sirens go off, I am outside looking at the sky. I do not desire to be a storm chaser for my meteorology career as a hurricane specialist but it would be nice to see a tornado in real life so see how incredible they can be.

Nah, I am happy with Nebraska. Anyways, it is still hit am miss regardless of where you live if you are able to see this kind of severe weather or not. I just so happen to be at the perfect place at the perfect time at this point. ^^

ya it is hit and miss but i do have to say i have seen that kind of weather many times in my lifetime strait from my backyard and i probably see this kind of weather like 15 times a year.
